Personal information collected by Philology is treated as confidential and is protected by the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and other applicable International Privacy legislation.
Definition: Personal information is defined as "information relating to an individual whose identity is known, or can reasonably be ascertained, from the information or opinion provided".
Logging of Web Site Visit Information
This site is operated by Philology using an Australian based external Internet Service Provider. When visiting this site, a record of your visit may be logged for statistical and security purposes. When you email Philology or use an online form, such as the one used by the QEDML Forum registration, then:
Philology may record your name, e-mail address, street address, telephone number, occupation, company and area of interest and this information may be added to a mailing list.
Except where explicitly stated as part of the data collection process, Philology will only use this information for the purpose for which you provided it. Philology will not disclose this information without your consent except where Philology may be required by law to disclose certain information.
